Here is a Code Dictionary of words used as names of different animals for Sage. The reason Sage had code names for different animals was so that she wouldn't get mixed up on what animals to look for. If she was always on the look out for an animal whose name was mentioned, she would be looking animals almost all the time. Because of this, Neal came up with code names for the different animals to keep Sage from getting confused on what to search for. Here is a dictionary of all of the codes...
longjaw- possum
code- called this because it hasa long jaw
used- on page 19 when Neal, Cody, Shannon, and Sage are trying to find and save a possum.
tidnab- raccoon
code- bandit spelled backwards used- on pages 47 and on 146, on page 47 to rescue a raccoon, and on page 146 to find/help/ locate a missing raccoon in the rescue center.
